Can someone recommend an independent garage in Hertfordshire / Bedfordshire

The engine light of my A class 2016 diesel automatic suddenly came on and the car no longer revs over 3000. Still accelerates ok and drives fast.

Instead of paying loads at Mercedes can anyone recommend a good independent garage. Ideally near Dunstable / Luton / St Albans / Hemel Hempstead.

There's a good place in Leighton Buzzard whose name escapes me but I think Prestige Motors is in Hitchin or close by...

It looks like Prestige Motors are out of business.
I just had a tech here which was free as part of my service plan.
Turns out the EGR in the exhaust is broken. I’m worried that Mercedes themselves will charge me a small fortune

We live in Hertfordshire and use Wayne Gates in Harrow, might be a bit too far for you but we've used them since 2005 and they have always been excellent.
