Sup y'all.
Quick question about buying a car.
Say if someone puts a car up for sale. The name of the owner on the log book is that of the persons dad but both live at the same address. The person selling the car is the son. Does the son have the right to sell the car. If it is sold, and later it emerges that the dad did not consent, is the dad legally obliged to claim the car back off the new owners even though the new owners are now the registered keepers according to the new log book? Just a few queries before i decide about a purchase.
Any feedback appreciated
