Car Spec or Oasis Report

Hi Everyone.

Can anyone point me in the direction to get the full spec for my car please it's a 2019 S205 220d. I have put my Vin in on both the mentioned sites from other threads bit it says the car is too new and the data card has not yet been transferred. Is there a way I can find this data online rather than having to go to my dealer please?

I just really want to see if mine was fitted with leather or artico leather seats? I was told they were leather at purchase but that was before I new they also sold plastic leather ones so didn't think to check

My last MB, a 2012 Sport, said on the VIN decoded list that it was leather, but it was Artico so that may not give you any clues. You can tell purely by the appearance and the firmness of the material, Artico is less supple that Napa Leather by a pretty wide margin plus it's not smooth like Leather

Yeah, my suspicion is that it's artico. Which is a bit disappointing. I thought on an AMG Line Merc it would be leather when my old honda had real leather

AMG Line = Artico

(unless the first owner spent ££££ for leather... which is rare)

As a general rule AMG Line is equipped with Artico as standard to keep production costs and the price point down so it needs to be ordered as an extra. It may be part of a pack nowadays as the tendency is to group extras together

very good point.
if you want an egg you need to break the shell.
alternatively a meat substitue for your steak, but that just wont be a t bone will it. I am missing bbq season already

Well I got the oasis sheet from the dealer and it says:

Code 251 Leather Black, Black. £662.50

Does that mean it is dead cow?

Probably Mark - my 2018 car specifically says “Imitation Leather” and the price quoted (£795 inc VAT) sounds like the Leather upgrade option I ordered (but didn’t get and that’s another story!)
