I've got a 1997 E300TD Estate (W210?)

I'd like to know if anyone has removed their CAT as I'd like to get a little more grunt and a little sportier exhaust note without replacing the whole system.:)

I'm running Bio so emissions are not an issue.

Well they say you get more power but I can't say I have ever noticed much of a difference

I've read a couple of posts where the cats have been removed and passing the emissions part of the MOT was not a problem even without running bio.
