Any one know where I can find the cheapest car insurance quotes (especially for young drivers) as I am hoping to get my son on a clk200 of something when he's 17 this June.

I have tried www.norwichuniondirect.co.uk which is usually very good but I was wondering if there were any others out there you knew of.

Regards!!!

I use HIC (Herts Insurance Consultants) who I've been with for several years. I started with them way back when they did specialist polices for Minis, then they did me a good rate on my previous car (MGF). Now they seem to be running a Mercedes specific scheme, so I'd mention that if you phone up.

They are usually quite open to a bit of bartering too - in the past I've had to play them off against other companies, and they've always strived to beat others.

I'm 29, living in a rural area, three points, and six years no claims. I paid just under £300 for TPF&T on my '89 300CE, valued at five grand. As a comparison they insured my MGF for £700 fully comp.

Ring HIC on 01279 506090

Ive used a firm called Warwick Davis www.warwick-davis.co.uk

they are a brokers based in Surrey. They managed to quote by far the cheapest on my 190 and have done the same for my Senator.

Im 26, live in Basildon (oh what a lovely place!) got a clean licence since 1993 and 10 years NCB. I managed to insure both the cars for under £250 each.

I didnt think that was too bad.

cheers
