CL63 AMG crash and repair

Hey guys,
yesterday I had a crash with a deer. Will post some pics later. Deer was unlucky and immediately dead, but the car turned out well considering the car speed and deer weight.
I´ll need new (or used) hood, bumper, left fender and left headlamp. And some small parts of course.

I found CL500 with AMG body for parts sale, will those parts match my CL63?

Thanks, yes I was lucky, it could have turned out much worse than this. I´ve seen many crashes where wild animal ended up inside the vehicle.

What exactly do you mean? In this case my insurance doesn´t cover collision with animals. Now I regret I didn´t pay for it the extra cash.

Anyway if the CL500 body parts are the same as CL63 it won´t be so expensive repair. Mechanic said the front plastic bumper is repairable, the toughest job will be to find xenon headlamp with ILS.

The fender should be the same as mine, so I´ll buy it, but what about headlamp? I have one with Intelligent Light System, are they all the same? My broken headlight number is A216 820 75 61 and the second hand one from CL500 I´d like to buy is marked A216 820 23 59.

Can anyone confirm they are the same? I asked MB dealer, but they cannot confirm which one is ILS or not, or if they are compatible.

unfortunately I crashed my CL63 and need new front left headlight. My broken headlight number is A2168207561 and the second hand one from CL500 I´d like to buy is marked A2168202359.
Even MB dealer cannot confirm they are the same (I need ILS headlamp).
Can anyone confirm they are interchangeable or not?

The wheel size on my Merc is incorrect on the OASIS print off that my local dealer provided me with.

Part numbers can change as Mercedes change suppliers or specifications.

Mercedes does not manufacture headlights, bulbs, batteries, spark plugs or brake pads, they are bought in from other manufacturers.

I once had a VW Passat which had Bosch headlights, these were also fitted to a Ford and a BMW.
Cheapest from Ford, then VW them BMW.

Different numbers from each marque.

That´s basically what MB dealer told me. There are plenty of headlamp versions (including colour differences) and therefore many serial numbers. Whatsmore they were changing those numbers during production

Might be worth looking at the website 7 zap Mercedes Chassis Europa and trawling through the options for the headlamps. The site does seem to update part numbers but lists the old ones.

Anyway I decided I´ll buy it even it´s not ILS so the car can be repaired soon.
If it won´t be ILS, I´ll keep searching for the right one and replace it later.

Does anyone know for which vehicle is the A2168202359 lamp and if it will work or not?
I think the software and conector must be the same.

What about night vision? Is it related with headlamp?

PM me your vin and I will post the headlights PN's suitable for your car.
Night vision is a different headlamp, they have a IR bulb where the high beam halogen would usually be.
