Cleaning a MAF sensor

Hiya chaps. One of my mate wants to clean his MAP sensor and we were looking for the servisol spray but cant find it in york area. Is there an alternative to this. Can we use nail polish remover as it contains alcohol too. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Lighter fuel is refined petrol and should do it if it is possible to clean it

Nail polish remover is acetone based and not a good idea as it will melt plastic

I got a can from Maplin, in case you have on near York.

Personally I would replace it. If cost is an issue try a good German and Swedish or Euro Car Parts, I am sure they will have them in stock at reasonable prices.
