2 codes came up on my ML320,

P0301 Cylinder 1 misfire detected
P0400 exhaust gas re-circulation flow

need a little help please... so if im going on the highway up a hill and then stomp on it, under load the car would start misfiring... later after restarting the car its all good.

#1 cylinder is passenger side front?

should i change up my coil pack for #1? spark plug?

should i change out the EGR ?

not sure if this is correct
It's contradictory....
No1 drivers side front of car. The front cylinder other bank is no 4.
Swap coilpack 1 with 4 and see if the fault follows the coilpack.
It's rare an EGR causes issues on a petrol engine.
