clk 2001 trys to stall transion light flickering

Hi all,
i have a clk covertible 2001, unfortunatley the "the ol girl" has started playing up! recently its started to lose power when your trying to accelerate then the abs light goes into freak mode even though the wheels are not spinning or losing traction? then it will pick up and be ok for a while? the other problem occasionly she will be spinning over without starting if you take the key out and try again itll fire up fine. im convinsed both faults are related and electrical but any help or advise would be appreciated ...the ol girl is not ready to retire just yet!

Are all the terminals on the battery posts/terminals tight?

yes, battery terminals clean and tight battery in good condition, alternator etc charging as it should, thankyou for replying
been told that could be some sort of "module" that would need to be sent back to mercedes and reprogrammed??but im stuggling to believe that this is the fault any advice would be appreciated

Whem you say the abs light, do you mean the yellow flashing triangle, or the red light with ABS written in it?
