Hi Guys, I have recently purchased the above car which just ticked over 150k and generally runs well.

However, occasionally when it starts it goes a bit weird. Starts and runs but no dials are working, no lights and it doesn't like to change gear. Turn off and on again and all is good. I can handle this but today my wife moved it 50 yards, turned it off. Came back after 2 minutes and it wouldn't start, just a click sounding like a flat battery, dash lights all working - time clock was spinning round and round. I connected a battery booster and the clock returned to normal and then it started.

Must have a bad connection somewhere - any idea where to look first?

Plug into Star and get the fault codes read should be the first port of call.

Sounds like a dodgy battery to me
Looks like you could be right. Battery less than 20% charged. Fully charged now and all working OK so far.
Cheers
