clk 320 jumps when starting.drive to reverse

when starting car jolts into reverse from park.also wont change up at normal revs. stop car after a couple of minutes of driving leave it a minute start it up again and everything is ok orange warning light also comes on. same happened yesterday but when selected drive car wouldnt move. any suggestions

So the engine is still running but the car has no drive.
Have you checked the fluid level in the box
