Hi, I recently bought a 2001 CLK 320 Avantgarde from a dealer who misplaced the handbook. :(

The dealer was a Saab/Vauxhall main agent and are willing to replace the Handbook but aren't willing to pay MB prices!!

Is there anywhere else (apart from downloading one which I have done temporarily) I or the dealer can get one?

Cheers

They cost about £15 from any MB dealer,do give the Vin in order to get the correct book and takes about 7 days

Thanks Malcolm,

I rang the local dealer who quoted £21.88 + VAT (obviously too dear for these cheapskate dealers I'm lumbered with  ).

They didn't need the VIN apparently and could get one in 2 days.

If they won't shell out £21.88 I hate to think what will happen if you have a problem.

Indeed - thank God their National warranty allows me to use any MB or MB specialist!!

Their excuse is that the deal was 'tight'. Yes it may have been tight but if it was too tight to afford £25 then they shouldn't have done it!

Not my problem - I want it sorted otherwise I'll drive onto their forecourt and refuse to move until it is!!
