Hi, I need help
I have found what appear to be two bargains, but can't make a decision.
The first is a 1997 CLK 230K. It has 80k miles, 8 months MOT, 4 owners.
The second is a 2000 CLK 430E. It has 100k miles, 3 months MOT, 2 owners.
Both cars are £1500. It seems crazy that I am disputing not getting the 430, but I am worried it's too good and there could be other probs. This will be my first Merc, and want to make sure I get something that won't go wrong and give me further problems. Am I right in assuming that the 430 should be able to go on much further so doesn't matter that it has slightly more miles especially as it's newer. I am worried that as it's a bigger engine, if something goes wrong it will mean much bigger costs. If this right? do the repairs and all other costs, cost more on the 430 then the 230.
I intend to buy one of these car by Tuesday, so any help or opinions at all would be much appreciated
Thanks in advance
