I think it maybe could be the unit, but bulbs are always blowing out all the time.

If the bulbs are always blowing, then do check the running voltage, 14.2 is the absolute max, better at 13.8volt

Simply put a voltmeter across the battery when the engine is running, that will tell you

As Alex, double check you have the correct bulbs fitted as a first check.

Is there a cluster readout of voltage? Or is the car too old for such a display?

i see problems like this so often, sometimes i am told that all the lights work, and all the bulbs are correct.

usually i swap a bulb, or replace a blown one and all is good again.

Cluster and STAR voltages are no where near exact, that is a fact

I fitted 21 5 and changed it for 4watt. All bulbs are correct, I think it's to old for the cluster voltage display. Or how would I get it up?

If available, usually by a combination of IGN positions and holding the ODO reset button but I have no inkling about this car

Please can you give me a list of all the rear correct bulbs and lights Please. Another question I have 2 lights on the front on twin head lights, there's 2 xenon bulbs, 1 small 1 on eitherside, and 2 large xenon bulbs. The 2 large ones have never worked or lit up? Why are they there, and only the 2 tiny xenon bulbs work???

Makes you wonder why MB would bother with it then?

Is it available on the OP's car?

It is a rough guide and used on STAR so that one can see if it is all going to crash, though it does warn you first, since the top of the battery is the best bit, but this can go down rapidly from this point onwards

do you know how to turn on the front fog lights?

all the bulb wattages at the rear are clearly written on the bulb holders.

There's 2 bulbs they don't work and never have since I owned the car, I'm not sure what lights they are or supposed to do as they've never worked, that's not causing the light defective. I will get to the bottom of this though.
