Just been checking my rear tyre treads & I noticed the L/H side sits a couple of inches lower than the R/H side.Never noticed this before-is the battery in there somewhere?

This sounds like a broken coil spring, I suggest you get it checked out as it should still be under warranty.

Can the spring break so quickly? You should definitely get it checked by MB as it shouldn't be as lowered as that and it should be covered in warranty as Teabag advised earlier.

Thanks for the replies but I think it was the slope on my drive causing it.
When I checked it on the straight & level it appeared to be ok.
Getting new back tyres in the very near future so I'll have a look at it then.
