Hi new to group just saved a 430 cab from being scrapped, the roof is not working flashing red light, I have done the soft top reset using supplied tool as hood was not locked in, removed fuses and checked the top when unlocked releases windows and you can hear a relay click. Am I right to assume that it might be a faulty Ronnie cover switch or more likely the main soft top control unit located at back of boot( looks a real pain to get to) any help would be much appreciated I am based In Gatwick

You are going to need an MB specific code reader, take a look at iCarSoft code readers for MB, there are a number of models with increasing capability, but even the cheapest should help you diagnose the roof and any other issues.

Next week is looking fairly quiet at the moment, but I’ve been in this game a looong time. A bank holiday weekend like this is usually a guarantee of next week being insanely busy.
