Hi all replaced the hydraulic boot lid lock as leaking and the replacement was doing the job ok, roof working boot opening remotely and on switch but had a small hydraulic leak, re done and replaced that is all ok and no leaks but boot now not opening when roof shut , but roof working perfectly, boot will open when roof recline mode but not shut, any ideas

I’m so pleased you have it sorted. Please accept my apologies, my sister passed away last weekend. Obviously I was rather caught up with all that.

Hi grant so sorry to hear your news can’t imagine how hard it must be for you, I managed to change the locks you kindly identified, but the boot one had a leak from the Allan key bolt, roof and boot all worked fine but leak got worse, got new part fitted latch roof works fine but now boot stays locked, guess must be a fault some where but once roof is engaged the boot switch works?

Hi grant more I think the only change I made was to the lock , so must be something with the lock replacement as when you open the roof and lock not engaged the boot switch works again just not sure how to resolve it
