Hi All,

wonder if anyone can help with an issue i have, this only happened on Friday and its very annoying. (W209 Coupe - 03 Reg - 3.2L)

so, the following has just started happening:

1. key in ignition and a get a sound from the speakers? (very Confused)
2. Electric Seat adjuster has stopped working (Driver Side)
3. Boot and electric windows module not working (Driver Side)
4. Wing mirror controls all dead (Driver Side)
5. most importantly, when the doors open and close the windows manoeuvre into place and out again. this has stopped working and now i have a gap between the windows.

note: Passenger side is all fine.

so the above has just started happening and i thought it may be a tripped fuse, so checked all the SAM Units and fuses that relate to the controls and all are fine and dandy.

please Help...driving me insane and i cant figure out what's up with it....

Looking like the N69/1 door ECU, as long as you are sure the fuse for the drivers side is OK

Hi Television,

Checked all the fuses according to the sheet you get attached to the driver side panel SAM. All those fuses where fine. No breaks.

Could you elaborate on the N69/1 door ECU? Would that control driver side and allow passenger to work fine?

The worrying thing here is, jump starting normally blows SAM's and not door controllers. I would get a STAR read out as the windows are CAN controlled from the SAM.

With regards to N69 as its happening on my driver side, does that mean its the driver side module? Was reading there are door control module for both sides..

N69/1 is drivers door and N69/2 the passenger side the passenger side should still work, I cannot answer whether the passenger side window should still work from the drivers side if the N69/1 is at fault.

Hi all,

So replaced the DCM on driver side and all electrobics back up and running.

Drivers windjw lowers and raises and other elements are now good.

But...the rear windjw is lowering But not raising...and the rear switch is not lowering or raising the rear driver window. Works from driver side. Tried a replacement rear DCM and to no avail.

Any suggestions?

Apologies, the rear switch is working, just had it on child lock.

So its just the rear window now raising.

Ok...so its now all working as it was previously. Seems like the system just needed reminding itself. After a short the reqr window now works.

Replacing DCM did the trick...

Thank you all for your help.

On to the next issue...

Key in ignition and sound from speaker...any takers? :)
