Dear All,
I have a 2005 55 CLS350. Can anyone help with a few queries.....

Does anyone know if you can get a cradle, or adapt one, to plug a blackberry pearl into the pre-wired telephone system? Also, has anyone found an outlet for the latest COMAND APS disks which is cheaper than MB? Finally, any recommendations of where to purchase personalised number plates?

I bought a plate from REGtransfers. Very straight forward to deal with and took about 2-3 weeks to get the plate on the car. Don't pay the asking price either, just make an offer.

If you find a plate that you like, also check that the DVLA have got it, as a lot of these indepentant companies list DVLA numbers, obviously adding a percentage for their profit. Be cheaper to buy from DVLA if they have got what you want. Brought a plate recently from them, they were very good.

A friend of mine has been keeping an eye on a private plate , He asked me to buy it on his behalf as his name would give the game away.

It was on the market for £6k , I emailed a firm offer of £3k willing to transfer funds the same day, but realistically expecting to pay iro £4k.

The response I got back was and I quote , the vendor has now revised his price required to £40k.

Yes that is correct £40,000 !!!!!!!!!!!!

I emailed a reply that when your client comes back onto planet earth I could still be interested.

12 months later the plate is still being offered for sale at the same price of £6k.

I got my plate from Elite regisrations they were quite straight forward

It does seem to vary on whether the company own the plate or are acting as agents for the third party. I got 10% off my plate, which made it a bargain bearing in mind it is part of my business.

I imagine the only way that could be done is with one of the MB BlueTooth adaptors.
