Hi All,
Recently I have become much more aware of the feelings I am getting through the clutch pedal. If stationary and I depress it about 1/2 - 1 inch I can feel vibrations through it that are in synch with the nice of the engine ticking over. Sounds strange but it feels like there is something rotating as it has a frequency to it.
My car,1984 5sp manual 240D has done 108k miles and I have no info on when (if ) the clutch has ever been changed. There is no pick up issues as I have experienced before with a clutch on its way out.
Someone has suggested it may be the thrust bearing that's causing the problem.
Can anyone comment/offer suggestions?
Eric
