Looking for CO2 emission data for a 1995 E300 Diesel auto. Any useful websites or other sources?

The original datacard would have this info but it isn't published for vehicles of this vintage. Why do you need to know, it doesn't matter for taxation purposes?

It can be worked out from mpg, so post your figures and it can be worked out. 36mpg is 210g/km.

what would 44mpg be?

What fuel, petrol or diesel?

Doh.! Answered my own question..a petrol isn't going to make 44mpg...LOL..

So 44mpg diesel = 172g/km

100% fact. You don't have to believe everything the TV tells you. Learn a bit about science, look at the facts and you can see how extremely misleading the "global warming" alarmists have been.

CO2 is an 0.03% of the total atmosphere, far to little to affect much of anything. Walk into a movie theater and fart (or burp if you prefer), that is about how much total CO2 is in the air. 1,190,000,000 billion tonns of CO2 is theoretically added to the atmosphere each year. This isn't even a drop in the bucket compared to the atmosphere's 5 million billion tons (5.5 x 10,000,000,000,000,000,000kg).

There are three primary contributors to the global temperature: The sun, humidity in the air, and the oceans. CO2 rises with temperature because the oceans absorb heat and evaporates quicker to release gases contained within.

Just like Global Cooling, the Millennium Bug, Africanized Killer Bees, Fire Ants, The Plague II, West Nile Virus, Killer Asteroids, SARS, and Bird Flu. It will eventually prove itself wrong and/or significantly over hyped and something else will be invented that will supposedly spell doom for all humanity.

Not sure what killer bees, millenium bug and the plague has to do with Co2 but I'm sure there is a link as you have stated your information is 100% fact...

Unfortunately you missed a fairly vital point. The amount of Co2 is a small percentage of total atmosphere, which is why it has such a pronounced effect when that percentage is altered. It alters the balance.

May I suggest you write some scientific papers and maybe make a film relating to this topic as it appears you have an insight that many top scientists have missed.

Just to give an alternate viewpoint readers might like to read the following linky..

Anybody that believes long term predictions (models) of the climate when people aren't even capable of accurately predicting next weeks weather is straight out arrogant and foolish.

Give it time and "global warming" will disprove itself.

In the mean time, worry about the important things in a car such as fuel economy, reliability and upkeep.

Currently achieving 8mpg, two breakdowns this month and cost really isn't an issue....but being arrogant and foolish means I don't need to worry about such things.

Ok...I lied..;)
