A new drive to work involves a 50 mile cross country hack on some pretty pock marked B roads.

Am considering a 2016 GLC250d.

I see the GLC comes in an array of wheel sizes from 17 - 21"...I'm certainly not considering the 20 or 21" option but have to admit the 19's look better than the 17's. Can any owners comment if the ride quality is much harsher on the larger ones?

Also ideally I want android auto for my Waze....is it only the Comand Online that offers the ability to mirror your phone?...are all the displays the same size?...in some adverts the display looks larger though it may just be the angle the photo is taken at?

Are there any other 'must have' options for this car?

Thanks for any info!

Look for one with the "Premium Plus" pack on.

20" wheels should have all seasons tyres on which will give a more pliant ride

I have 19in on mine and the ride is great but with air suspension so that probably doesn’t help you. The larger screens come with Comand Online which is part of the Premium Plus pack. As far as I know, CarPlay and Android auto are not available with the Comand system but can be added or retrofitted to the standard Audio 20 (smaller screens). The guys at https://www.commandonline.co.uk/ are the best place to get a definite answer and perhaps @Alfie will see this.
