Coolant Loss

I have a MD 270CDI 2002 year model. Km on the odo is 415 000km.

The car has an ongoing problem relating to coolant loss, +- 1 Litre every 500km.

There are no visible leaks. The radiator and engine have been pressure tested and a gas test has been done from the coolant bottle. There are no pressure losses on the cooling system and there are no engine gases escaping into the cooling system.

Please can someone advise on what could be the problem.
