190e 2.3. Car has started a "squeal" sound when starting up. Rev it up...it goes away. Idle down, hit the gas...it squeals. At start up and for a little while, drips coolent on the ground from an area I want to say is where the engine and trans come together. Stops after awhile...dripping and squeal. What do you all think?

Squeal will be either fanbelt or water pump.

The water leak is most likely the small hose on the back of the head which is for the heater.

A coolant pressure test is required to find that leak, the squeel might be a aux drive belt that is dry if you squirt it with wd40 and it shuts up thats it,

But better to replace with a new one. good luck..
