I am at that age where getting tight wheel nuts off becomes a problem, which has now been compounded by a diagnosis of osteoarthritis in both hands and thumb joints (wondered why they hurt so much after working on cars), so here's the question.
I want to buy a decent cordless impact wrench to get things like wheel nuts and suspension bolts out, do not want to pay garage sky high tool costs, as not for professional use but home use.
I have not set a budget yet as looking about, but seen a couple that seem to fit the bill, Draper Stormforce and another one call Durofix 20 v.

What do other members use and are they any good ?.

I use a pneumatic one so not much help to you really but, if I were buying an electric one, I'd be going for an 18v Milwaukee.

I know a few guys in the trade and they all rate these highly.

I have the Ryobi 18v 400Nm wrench.
If it is 400Nm I would be surprised as I can easily apply more torque to shift stuff.
While it's handy It isn't as useful as I had hoped.

On the Vito I will tighten wheel nuts on setting 2, and finish off with the traditional torque wrench.
On occasion I have forgotten and used setting 3 it certainly passes 150Nm, but is pretty easy to loosen by hand.
And that's with a fresh charged 5Ah cell.

I had hoped it would save my shoulders when I have a seized nut / bolt, but w/o doubt I can apply more force with a bar wrench. A lot of noise and it fails to shift what I can w/o too much difficulty.

In truth I use it as I might a cordless drill with a 1/2" adapter, to spin things off at speed, loosened wheel bolts included.

I now wonder if I have a duff 'en.

I second that milwaukee. I have an 18v Hitachi, although compact it sometimes lacks the torque to loosen very tight wheel nuts.

Purchased an 18v Wolf wrench , not too impressed. Can just about loosen the ones on the Subaru (100nm) but anything north of that it will not work.

Good enough for running bolts in / out but that is it really.

I also have the Ryobi. It is powerful enough for what I want and also compact enough to fit where more powerful but bulky ones would not.
Wheel nuts only need around 110-130nm ;)

We've had this discussion previously.
Could be it's time for a new adjustable traditional torque wrench but at recommended setting and plus 10 I've had wheels loosen twice.
But to indicate this isn't rare while I've been checking MOT histories for a replacement 639 I've seen a fair number that have failed due to missing wheel bolts. That's too many to assume they were all numpties forgetting to tighten them.
I'll continue to over tighten some to be safer.

Just get a longer bar they don't take batteries and if all else fails a piece of scaffold pole.

I have one of those already and it will not loosen wheel bolts, all cars are correctly tightened with a torque wrench, Mini's at 140 NM and merc at 120MN.
I looked at the Draper STORMFORCE as was good price, but someone said they are no good.
So looking at a make called HiKOKO (think that's how its spelt) which has good reviews but costs a bit
And De Walt, again good reviews but cost a bit.
Has any one used any of these ?, i am tempted by the Draper, as about £140, and some people say its good, others say its not (ho hum)
I am not a garage, just a home mechanic, but now have four cars to keep going (daughters have theirs now) and i seem to be removing wheels every week to do something.
Also bear in mind that the ML270 is 17 years old, and anything i seem to replace is very tight or rusted.
If i could just carry on with a breaker bar, i would, its not a strength thing, its pain for days after.

Comments please

I replaced the rear shocks and springs on my 02 203 and the Ryobi had no issues undoing the rusty bolts.
