Cost of diesel injectors E300 1999, and where can I buy?

Anyone know what the cost of a diesel injector is (or for all 6) for a 1999 E300 TD(with the Bosch inline pump)?

Mine's has been running a bit rough when accelerating heavily, and I had one incident of Diesel "Nailing" which was very alarming (equivalent of pinking in a petrol engine but the noise is a much louder metallic one).

I've read that injectors should be changed every 100,000 miles (mine just reached that the other week).

I'm holding my breath for the cost, or any recommendations for refurbishment etc.

Try whacking a hefty does of injector cleaner through it. It might not do much, but for the cost of it it's worth a shot before you start shelling out on new injectors. They are only 7 years old and I'd have thought they'd be good for a few more miles than that.

Injectors are not cheap especially on diesel, you are looking at £250+ each yes each on the eclass from stealers... i would try the cleaner first and replace faulty injectors rather than all of them...

Try a Bosch injector specialist, they may be able to find some refurbed ones or refurb yours. I don't know about yours, but my 1992 300D has the same injectors as a Sprinter van so you may be able to get them from a commercial vehicle outfit. Alternatively, check the scrapyards like Dronsfield to see if they have. I wouldn't spend all that money on new ones. As above, try good quality injector cleaner ( search the forum for advice on the best).
