Wondering if anyone could help me with these? (or if I'm just being thick)

819 CD changer - alpine - in trunk (с 31.07.1992)

It tells me I've got one of these, though it's an *in dash* unit in mine (APS 50 Unit)

Which I'm assuming that this is:

265 Becker radio set Mexico, stereo, combined with this:

810 loudspeaker, sound package sound package (bose) (с 01.12.1986)

Another one is this:

618 halogen lamp unit with high beam/low beam/fog light (r.h. traffic) (с 01.04.1970)

I know for a fact I've not got halogens, well possibly the fogs, but I certainly have Bi Xenons.

Finally this one (which I've seen on other peoples as well):

954 equipment package for avantgarde vehicles (с 01.06.1993)
rotating emergeny flasher, front (red light)

As far as I'm aware I haven't got one of these rotating flashers (would like one, but may question the legality of it :p )

Not over bothered about any of the above too much, nor questioning the viability of the Russki site, just wondering if they use a lot of generic statements, or are some of the above fitted (or removed) by UK dealers?

Code 819 is always Alpine CD changer in trunk (mines in the car)
810 is the complete Bose sound system complete with amps.
618 is the foglamps

This is the standard wording, are you sure that you have not got a CD changer, as thats often part of the Bose package.

with the exception of the red flashing light (mines blue) your car reads as mine.

I used to have a list of all option codes, but it went with the computer.

Thanks Malcolm,

Yeah, I have a CD changer but it's in the dash.
Not quite enough space to slot disks in when it's in park, which is a pain, but I can live with that :)

Blue flashing light could be even more fun ;) (and definately more illegal)

Your car sounds nice by the spec, is it the same with your AMG car almost everything is standard.

Regrettably most things were extras.

I didn't buy it new, though hung on till I found a low(ish) miler with what I wanted.

Main bad bit was APS 50 instead of COMAND, but most other toys are there.

Keyless Go (not really essential but I love it....spot the grin)
Heated & Ventilated Comfort seats...a luxury I wouldn't like to be without now.
Electrically adjustable steering position (Nice when you open the door to get out and it moves the wheel out of the way, but a toy really)
Not got Distronic (sorry m8, I know you like that one) but I don't really do the travel to justify it.

Favourite bit? Lots really, but could have something to do with just short of 500BHP ;)
Not much fun in this cold wet weather, but I still have the window down regularly to listen to the blower & the exhaust note. Just makes me smile.
It's a Jan 2003 with 28,000 on it. (25,000 when I bought it)

The Keyless go is so nice, when parked just place a finger on the handle:D
Comforts seats is the only thing that does not work on mine (Air leak) I took all the upholstery off 2 weeks ago and put it back again. I will make up a pump to test.

The moving steering wheel does make it possible to get out of mine, I did not see your mention of 500bhp.

Had a brand new Lexus come around today, that has everything, all of the goodies, Much thicker paint than the MB, poor guy caught the door the first time in garage.

I did not see your mention of 500bhp.

It only usually gets mentioned when someone asks "What's it do to the gallon then?"
The reply is always "500 horses, who cares?"

Friend of mine has just bought the IS250......not a lover of them I'm afraid.

Don't know why.
They're quick(ish) quiet (very) and comfy (very) and reliable (again, very)
Just don't appeal to me at all. May be something to do with the blandness of it all?
