Cruise control

Hi Hope this is the right place to ask....
My cruise control in my A Class has switched OFF & I cant find any instructions to turn it back on...

Can anyone help?

When you say switched off, have you been using it a lot?

Forum members may need more details of your car but on mine it’s easy to engage the speed limiter so I would check that first.

2015. It co-incided with a flat tyre- I thought it had automatically switched off to keep the speed low while I drove to the garage? I get a safe mode msg & to see manual but I can’t find anything in there yes I do use it a lot

I had a similar issue on my 'C' but there where other things that didn't work like Anti Lock braking + various warning lights on dash. It turned out to be a speed sensor on the front wheel. Wasn't a lot of money to put right at the Indie I use. If my memory serves me right I think it was about £130

sounds ODD,

how bad was the flat tyre? didn't destroy its self did it? if so might have damaged a wheel speed (ABS) sensor. But if that had happened you should have an orange light on the dash

could u have swapped the cruise for the speed limiter setting ? on some its another feature on the same stalk... check handbook its use / features are a bit odd

in safe mode it will indeed shut down things like cruise control , not 100% on this but it may need a star reset
