De badging - how and why?

Removal can be done by heating with a hair dryer.....had to replace badges on the Peugeot due to damage and it works a treat.
No badges on Merc......came without them.....by choice.

The 'up badgeing' is a very SE Asian thing.

Don't know about China but it's rife in HK and Singapore.

Your correct, when I got to work I talked to the techs about it and they fell about laughing Apparantly its a big face thing in china too but an S badge of an E class is a little obvious. If it were S280 with an S600 badge I could understand. still this is Asia
