Hi All, I thought I would share my dealer experience with you due to the "bad press" they usually get.
Having first agreed a price, I took the car too MB Chesterfield to have the ATF & filter done , It was booked in at 1300hrs, I arrived and went thro the formalities and at 1310 my car was up on the ramp, I said I had not seen an ATF change before, so the service manager said take a quick look underneath if you want I was talking to the tech doing the work and he had served his apprenticeship when 124s came out (bonus), so he was quite happy to be doing it as they are still one of his fave MBs
Anyway torque converter done, filtrer, fluid, seals, etc, all done, also when on EPC my car shows up as a Japan model, apparently not, it is UK model or it would have different suspension (much higher) had loads of stuff explained to me by the service manager and the tech, and left there very happy
So overall a very good dealer experience
