I am posting this at the risk of causing great offence to some of you, so apologies in advance to the honest ones amongst you!
The last two times I have had my car serviced at a particular main dealer (not a local one to me), it has had to go back to deal with different problems which were not apparent when the car went in first-time round, but during the course of the day have clearly become 'apparent'. Eg a leak from the rear wash-wipe and temperature controls 'shot to pieces' leaving very hot air blasting continually out of the vents - even on cold.
Being a cynical chap, is it beyond the realms of possibility that my car has been 'doctored' by unscrupulous mechanics to encourage me to go back for the new faults to be rectified at further expense?
Obviously I can prove nothing, but it does seem rather odd.
Is this sort of practice rife amongst MB main dealers? Or is it just coincidence....?
