My dog has realised that she can get through the gap between the net at the back of the car and there's nothing I can do about it as I'm driving.Very annoying because she might damage the leather seats.I'm thinking of installing those police style metal bars, does anyone knoew where to get them or have other ideas of how to keep her from getting through?

put the dogs lead through one of the cargo hoops in the boot, we have the same problem but not when secured to the hoop.

Unless you've got a dog that chews leads when bored - like when in the back of the car...

I tried it but she gets her legs tied with the lead and whines until released.I could by a cage but then there's the hassle of unloading it when putting other things in to the car.If mercedes would just make those nets a bit longer there would be no problem.

I don't think that the net is up to restraining a dog anyway so a proper dog guard should be fitted unless you want the dog coming forwards to great you should the worst happen.
