I have a 97 280 E-class with 135,000 on the clock.
It's a superb car but for the last 50,000 miles I've noticed the autobox creaking when in drive / R and foot on the break.
Is this a problem ?
Also before it warms up sometimes it won't move unless it's reved up to 3500 - I realise that there is a device to keep the revs high when cold but 3500 seems a bit excessive ! - This only happens occasionally.
