Have a Dec 2001 E200 T Kompressor Estate, app 90k mls
Car got stuck in 3rd, restarted and fine, 10 days later no start in airport, Jump start got going, has not started again. All lights on, no noise on turning key.
Oil found in Gearbox ECU and well, have replaced same, now
told ignition signal going to Engine ECU and no further.
PS 1 Driving light gone.
Any ideas? Week 6 without car.
My Kiddies threatening to fix with mallet.
Many thanks.

You have a starter relay K40/4K2 that could be blown

You have a K40/ 4 fuse and relay in passenger fuse box

previously- rear lightbulb problems, now front driver light gone, brake wear warning,

eng ecu bench tested, all fine

I had a gearbox control unit recently that went down causing a non start. It was a weird one too.

I tried to look at logically, the car drove home OK once it was jump started,, but failed to turn the starter later,,I could understand the selector module going down and this would stop it,, But it did drive home,,part of the EIS circuit from the switch is another thing apart from the K40 bits in my earlier post
