E210 (E320) Elegance Estate - European Dipped Headlights?

I've just bought a 2001(Y) E320 Elegance Estate and need to drive regularly to France.

I can't find any reference to switching over Euro dipped beam and back (as on my old Scorpio Ultima).

Is there something I've missed? Is there an easy bulb swap, or do I need to use the 'sticky tape'?

If you have xenons they can be switched, lamps with normal bulbs cannot be so it is back to the tape

My 2001 has xenons and have read a few posts ref the switching the magical lever, i have never found the lever or seen any pics of it anywhere but would love to know once and for all.

I have had the bulb out and felt all around the inside of the lamp had a look with a mirror etc etc but no luck.

Models 211, 220 with headlamps with
projection system (halogen headlamps) can all be switched
