E270 broken down - no power plumes of diesel smoke

Can some one advise what the issue could be on Mercedes. AA said it was an injector that was stuck open. On my carsoft diagnostics only get glow plug error.

id agree with the injector fault , have a leak off / spill test done on them , it will confirm the issue , glow plugs only start the car pal not effect the way it runs

Where is all the smoke exiting from ?

If it was just an injector I'd expect all the smoke to be out the back. Where is the smoke escaping from under the bonnet?
