Hi,
The Sat Nav CD unit in my 200 E Class has had many problems, one which I posted before is it keeps switching on and off at night and makes a spark sound once in a while.
Now the 6 Disc CD player does not always play the CD and when it does it can show disc 4 track 1 and it can be playing disc 6 track 5. This morning when I pressed one of the disc numbers to get the disc out the stereo decided not to eject it.
Then after 5 minutes of me trying the switch panel that hides the cd player will not open, it moves a few mm and then goes back in!
Are the Merc stereo units made by Matsui Currys own brand?
Anyone had this problem and if so how did they resolve the issue, I expect it will be over a grand to replace the whole unit?
