E320 - Year 2000, 130,000miles. Hi - Just recently, I've noticed that my fuel economy has gone down from 37-40, down to approx. 33. Any idea what could have caused this drop. I'm hoping to get the ATF oil changed this week and then the MAF... thanks

also the heater plugs can make a difference, or at least they do on earlier, non cdi engines. if theres a glow plug off, i lost about 4 mpg with the c250 turbodiesel i had

Interesting post this.....mine has just done same thing, consistent 38.5mpg but about two weeks ago went down to around 34mpg. So its MAF??
