Hi,
Car is a 2007 s211 e320 CDI with Euro4 specs.
No EML no limp mode but my icarsoft was reading an engine fault in regards to the lambda oxygen sensor.
Message of fault was the "G3/2 O2 sensor upstream of Cat" .
In reality, the car has only one lambda sensor and is downstream of the catalyst.
It took me a lot of search to find an upstream lambda sensor and since I wasn't able to find it myself went to a garage to lift the car up for a better view and thorough search.
We confirmed that this car has just one oxygen sensor and is located downstream of the cat.
I just drop this info here for a future reference for someone in same position as I was.
After the replacement the message of the fault was "historic" so I cleared it up.
Thanks.
