embarrasing question

can anyone tell me where my fusebox is in my 96/97 c280 sport?

the aircon isn't working and I've been informed the fuse should be the first thing to check. If possible would you know what fuse number is for the air con aswell?

I have won an owners manual on Ebay but am waiting for it to be delivered.

Go to this site, and find your car, there is only one, then in the first line go to 54 in the first line, and you will find all 3 fuse boxes.

The main fuse box on all mercs is under the bonnet by the bonnet hinge on the drivers side. There are generally a few extra fuseboxes dotted about (in boot, under rear seat swab etc) depending on models but thats a good starting point and the aircon fuses should be there I would imagine.

Cheers for that, good news is I found it, bad news is it aint the fuse thats at fault
