Engine oil level information required

Hello again gentlemen, A simple question. How much oil is required from min to max?. The car is a 1995, W202, C220 Diesel.

i cant be certain on this but if my memory is correct from when i had mine, i think its around a litre. i would however only add half at 1st and see how it goes. its 5 years since mine met its demise (according to the insurance) but it was taxed up until last year! lol!
