Hi, I’ve seen a few people on here with this problem, the red warning saying “engine oil level switch off engine” I’ve replaced oil level sensor and it’s still coming up , does anybody know if the voltage for this sensor is 5v or 12v

Is it a stupid thing to ask if you've checked the oil level?
It might need to be reset on your fault codes otherwise....

Did you clean the connector from the inside. How many wires did it have?

Have you checked the engine oil level physically.
Pull dipstick, wipe, reinsert, check, Car on level ground, engine off and level settled etc etc

Experiencing something similar (red oil level message on my dash) after changing my car battery and full service with oil change. The dipstick shows oil level in range but the message keeps popping back up after driving for a few minutes. Any suggestions on how to get this sorted. Seems changing the sensor didn’t help others. Your help on how you got yours fixed would be greatly appreciated.
