One of my friends who doesn't have internet access own a mercedes 300CE Auto (Aug 90) and has the following problem. If the car is not used for a week, as the temperature of the engine approaches operating temperature, on acceleration the engine will cut out. This only lasts for a few minutes and then reverts back to normal. However, if the car is driven every day it is totally fine.... any ideas ?
