Engine Rattle C220 CDi sports Coupe 2002

Hello,
Can anyone help diagnose the problem with my car - It has done 120000 miles I've had it since new ! and is due next service in 1800 miles - I have noticed a sqiggley yellow symbol come on when I first start up the engine - which goes out after a few minutes - (this started about 2 weeks ago) - yesterday I noticed a slight rattle when the car got to 25000 revs - rattle goes away when revs drops - does anyone know what might be wrong??

A squiggley yellow symbol??

Assuming you have the owners manual, can you find the symbol in there? That will help!

Couldn't find symbol in manual but might be sign for spark plugs ? Did a web search for problem diagnosis.

It is the glowplug warning light.

You have one or more faulty glow plugs.

Can you video the rattle?

It is a bit tricky to diagnose rattles over the net.

Thank you for this, but not to sure how to video rattle ! Car makes a slight tinny engine noise when revs are raised -
