- W211 2.8 cdi facelift 2006.
Wonder if anyone has had this before, w211 2.8 diesel. On Sunday slowed down for a roundabout and engine stalled, restarted immediately but engine light came on, switched off but light stayed on. Next morning started the car, no light on dash, great. However the same happened yesterday, slowed for a roundabout and engine cut out, restarted and the engine light back on and today it is still there. Any thoughts on what caused this.
Also any ideas why the engine revs would drop so low as to stall the engine. Thanks for any help.
