exhaust layout

Hi could any please post a schematic on the exhaust,
looking at mine the other day I noticed the downpipe is only butt fitting to the next section,...surely there should besome sort of flange locking clamp fitted there?

The car is a E 211 220 diesel

fig10 where it meets fig150 according to the diagram should be connected together using 110. now mine appears to be missing? but what amazes me is how it has'nt seperated? albeit there seems to be exhaust staining at the joint.

Am now going to crawl under the car for another look
