Never owned a Porsche and the last one I was in, was the back of a Panawotsit slightly drunk playing with the buttons traveling around Munich with my youth driving as he was sober.

He was driving his boss's car, who had to sit in the front as he knew where we were going, youth was doing some work experience, we had been to the Erdinger hotel and tried some nice dark beer and plenty of good food, great night.

I owned Ferraris years ago and didn't like them.

Wish I had laid them up somewhere mind you that applies to so many cars these days the £20,000 Escort was not on anyone's mind.

My best man sadly now deceased inherited just under £2m and bought himself a Panamera, he had had quite a few expensive cars, mainly Range Rover’s but declared the Panamera was the best car he’d ever owned :)

For some reason I kept calling it a Porsche Panasonic after the erdinger.

It's sad to hear of someone who had such a stroke of fortune so cruelly taken away.

Engine rebuilds aren’t as criminally expensive as headlines would leave you to believe and a lot of parts can be sourced cheaper than a lot of mainstream brands I’ve found.

£12k according to the one they did on Wheeler Dealers, all down to it being ragged from cold

Friend of mine has a Ferrari 599, 12mpg if you are lucky, needs a water pump gasket as a total cost of £3500, dash leather has all started to come off (common problem), hardly uses it, utterly pointless but very fast car with the V12 up front

I used my 911 as a "company car" for a few years - regularly had over 33mpg on a run. Averages ~28mpg and 10 mpg when running well

His brother has a 997 C4S and easily gets that on a run

I sold my Cayman in the summer and am missing a Porsche, in fact I’ve been looking at older 911s, way too little patience for the wait on a new one.
