I'm trying to determine the exact date of manufacture for my 1983 230CE. Well it's 1983 first registered in UK in Feb that year, but if I can show DVLA here it was actually manufactured in 1982 then I'm eligible for tax exemption this year.
I've tried a few searches with using the VIN but it keeps saying I should have a C or D in the number for 1982 or 1983 but I have no letters at all apart from WDB at start which is on all I believe.
Any ideas?
