firing order of V8 MB 500SE

Is the firing order of the 500SE

1 8 4 3 6 5 7 2 or 1 5 4 8 6 3 7 2

on the distributor cap the following order
6 RH Top
1LH Bottom
4RH 9oclock
7LH 3oclock
3LH 11oclock
5LH 1oclock
8RH 7oclock
2RH 4oclock

going clock wise assuming that 1 is on the left hand cylinder head

if this isn't correct please correct me. I'm basing my info on my 450SEL and my current V8 Range Rover
