Flat battery recharged - now key won't turn?

hi chaps have disconnected the battery as suggested....no go

will leave the key in the ignition as suggested for 30 mins and try then.

hi tried that ..have had a new key made up but still no go...now annoying !...

.I don't think the ignition fob is getting power have checked fuses....is there one that controls it ?

Friend of mine had a similar problem called out MB who changed the ignition lock assembly, £500 bill.

New key and new fob..works well...my fault for leaving the windows a jar in the wet cold weather !!
